The Archer image from the Station to Station tour( 2 photos) is said to be one of Bowie’s favourite photographs of himself. Amazingly the photograph was taken about 30 feet from the stage as Bowie was preparing to ‘fire’ his imaginary bow as a signal for his lighting engineer to kill the lights.
